I’m Jenny Shen, an independent UX/Product Designer. I was originally born in Taipei and grew up in Vancouver, where I studied interaction design at Simon Fraser University. In 2013, I moved to Singapore to lead UX/UI design at Gimmie, and in 2015 I moved to Amsterdam to join TravelBird as an Interaction Designer.

Since 2011, I’ve been working with clients across the globe. I’ve built a portfolio of 20+ clients from 10 different countries, designing for users from over 27 countries. Today, I focus on designing inclusive product experiences for international users.

On the side, I am speaking in international conferences and mentoring designers. I’m also volunteering as the Regional Director of EMEA at Ladies that UX, a non-profit organization active in over 50 cities around the world. I'm a member of the leadership team that develops global community strategy and sets up processes to assist chapter leaders in building their communities. Previously, I was the founder and co-organiser of the Amsterdam chapter, where I grew the community to 2000+ people and grew the team to 9.
